Lorenzo Steele Jr., the Chairman of the Anson County NAACP Criminal Justice, introduces the county's inaugural mobile prison art museum. This museum aims to highlight the issues surrounding mass incarceration and to provide strategies for youth to steer clear of the prison system. Featured exhibits include photographs, installations, and a replica of a prison cell. Lorenzo Steele Jr. is a former corrections officer from New York City, having served 12 years at the notorious Rikers Island from 1987 to 1999.

Dr. Albertina Dancy

Albertina Samoht Dancy is a distinguished Psalmist, Evangelist, Mother, Co-Author, Motivational Coach, and Entrepreneur. She grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, in a spiritually nurturing environment provided by her late parents, Rev. Albertine and Catherine Dancy, which cultivated her profound connection to the Scriptures and traditional Gospel music, earning her the title "The little lady with the Big Pipes." With a professional singing career that spans over thirty years, Albertina's powerful and soulful voice crosses multiple music genres while remaining anchored in her love for gospel music. She has shared the stage with prominent Gospel and R&B artists and has collaborated with both national and international musicians, including the legendary Bill Pinkney and The Original Drifters, Gospel icon Albertina Walker, and South African Gospel star Deborah Fraser. Her educational background includes an Associate Degree in Administrative Justice from Tidewater Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Livingstone College, and a dual Master's degree in Human Service Counseling and Criminal Justice from Liberty University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's in Divinity at The Samuel Dewitt School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.

Meet Demetra S. Manns-Marsh

Rev. Demetra S. Manns-Marsh is a member at Thompson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church located in Mineral Springs, NC, where she holds several roles, including Minister of Music for both the church and the Wadesboro Monroe District, as well as the President of the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society. In addition, she serves as the Executive Director of Amongst Friends, a nonprofit organization that provides Home and Community Based services in the Charlotte Metropolitan Area, focusing on support for individuals with disabilities. Before establishing Amongst Friends, she gained experience working with various agencies that assist both youth and adults facing intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health issues.A native of Bassett, VA, Rev. Marsh received her education through the Henry County School System. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. Furthermore, she has completed the CMS Teaching Residency EC Adapted Curriculum Program and is an active member of Women's Philanthropy and Network Charlotte.Rev. Marsh is married and has two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling,  crafting, reading, and spending quality moments with her family.
